A Day in the Life of an HVAC Technician
As an HVAC Technician, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring comfort and safety for clients by expertly installing and servicing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. Your role is vital to the company's mission of providing top-notch service and reliability.
Responsibilities include:
- Installing new HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Inspecting and maintaining existing systems
- Diagnosing and repairing HVAC malfunctions
- Performing emergency repairs efficiently
- Following blueprints and building codes for installations
- Collaborating with team members to meet project deadlines
- Maintaining accurate records of all work performed
- Delivering excellent customer service
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or in a similar role (5+ years of experience)
- Strong knowledge of HVAC/R systems and components
- Proficient in troubleshooting and repairs
- Familiarity with plumbing and electrical systems
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
